EE x silkie

we think this is a EE X silkie ..

it has the chipmunk look with feathered feet. Its about 4-6 weeks old right now...we will see what happens as it grows

EE, Silkie crosses!
So when crossing them, when the rooster is a silkie and hen a large fowl EE does that mean the chick will be large fowl, but when its the other way around, the chick is bantam?

Thats a good question

I have bantam ee's, so mine are all bantam.
I hope someone can answer that

The chick looks like a partridge silkie--what makes you think it is an EE cross?

The chipmunk markings are very common to many breeds--partridge silkies are chipmunk marked. Hatching out of a blue egg however, definitely qualifies it as an EE
