Ok, from now on I will have updates on my art on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’ll most likely have finished pieces every 1-2 weeks.

Just started planning out the design for my grotesque today. Don’t have any pics but it will have the body of a fluffy sheep, the head of a bird, the feet of a lion, big feather wings, and eight tails that will wrap around the sphere it’s sitting on. I’m very excited to make this! They’ll all be made of clay and then spray painted with stone spray paint.

On Tuesday I have art class and will have pics of my design then (actually it’s like a 99.9% chance I’ll have pics because no promises I might forget ) I’m super excited, though it will take about a month for the whole class to finish. Here are the steps we will be following to make these:
1. A couple rough sketches - brainstorming
2. Sketches of final design - top, bottom, side, front, and back
3. Forming it out of clay - making sure there’s no air bubbles, that the walls are the right width, etc - basically this step will take a while.
4. Last but not least firing it and spray painting it!
