Just curious if EEs are slower in maturing than other breeds. Or could it be the declining day length?

From my experience, chickens will lay when they are darned well ready to and not a moment sooner.
  3. Mine are almost that same age and I get I think 3 eggs from the 12 I've got. I feel that they will lay only when they are ready to too. [IMG]

My chickens are all 25 weeks and the EE's the only one's not laying yet. Also, they are very sweet but seem to be at the bottom of the pecking order in our yard.

My EE was almost 26 weeks old before she laid. Give her time, she will lay when she is ready.
