Love it!
Thank you very much

Who: Brown Sugar

Where they came from: Privett Hatchery in NM
When they started laying: She is 2 days shy of 21 weeks. Today! 3 Sept. 2012
What color egg: Olive

Brown Sugar's egg is bottom right. I am just guessing that is what one calls olive!

(Just for fun, the bottom left is from a Buff Orpington, top left is from a Production Red and top right is from a Silver Spangled Hamburg.)

I have three more EE girls to go!!! Really hoping for SOMEONE to lay me a more blue or mint green egg! But Brown Sugar's egg does add some variety!

Man, I have an EE who will be 26 weeks old on Wed and she still hasn't laid an egg yet!!! Do you think if I squeeze her from the neck down, an egg will pop out??????? hahahaha! Just kidding.....I sure wish she would hurry and have an egg. My other EE laid an egg at 22 + 2 days old but it is pale pink. This is my last chance for a blue or green egg!

I cannot tell you how many times I have wanted to do that to my chickens!!! I have 12 more pullets that are also almost 21 weeks and not laying yet.

I'm very excited that I finally get to post on this thread!!! Found it over a month ago...anyhow, let's get down to business!!
Who: Jewel (formerly Honker because she honks like a goose, but then she got so pretty I had to name her something different lol) She was your average brown chipmunk-like chick but she had no chipmunk lines and her wings were a light tan color where the rest of her was dark brown. She was also the bully of my shipment. She would not stop pecking everyone's eyes and I nearly had to give her away! So glad I didn't! She has since turned sweet

Where: Cackle Hatchery, MO
When: 24.5 weeks old. I thought she was taking forever, but now the pressure's on as I have 4 other EE girls that came with her and they have not started yet.
What: Check it out! The other eggs are all from my Cinnamon Queens.

Jewel IS pretty and lays a "jewel" of an egg color!!! lol!
