EE's gender check **UPDATE! 08/30/10**

First one is a stag unless it is one of those gender benders but I think roo. Second one is a pullet.

I guess roo in the first picture because the hackle feathers look pointy in the picture to me. A close up picture would help accuracy. The second, I'll say pullet. Hope I'm wrong if you wanted 2 pullets

The tail looks pretty rooish on the 1st one. I agreed with everyone else that the 2nd is for sure a pullet.

Thank you all for your guesses! It sounds like we won't know on Cutie for sure for sure until we hear a crow or see an egg. LOL I sure hope pullet...this one was hatched in my son's classroom.

Fingers crossed both pullets. We can't have roosters here.

Do I see irridescence on the first tail? We have some hens with irridenscence on the tails but the feathers are definitely blunt and are dull till quite later.

I want to say 2 pullets, but the tail on that first bird is awfully jaunty. I'd keep a close eye on her/him and hope for the best.

I'm willing to guess roo on the first one as well. Here is my EE roo who started out looking the same way without much of a comb either.
