Egg bound hen now laying gelatious eggs

I apologize in advance. I'm such a newb at this. I've only had my girls for about 6 months.
The other night one of my hens was egg bound. Poor girl.
I read up on what I should do and ended up massaging the vent with a little vaseline.
Now, she's still laying but all her eggs are nasty gelatious orbs.
Did I do something wrong? Is there something wrong with her? What do I do?!
I hope someone can direct me to some answers!

This is a kink in the egg factory. It may work itself out. If not you'll have to decide if you want to keep her as a pet or get rid of her.

What is she eating?

If they are on laying ration give them a dish of free choice oyster shells too. You might consider a vitamin to add to the water as well. The calcium they need won't absorb unless it is combination with pottasium and magnesium so the vitamin water would help this.
