So a couple months ago I noticed one of my hens had a droopy comb and was kind of skinny and had diarrhea. I wormed all of my birds and the one droopy hen now dubbed Floppy nearly died. She was lethargic and laying on her side. We brought her in the house and she perked up! Her comb is not even drooped over anymore, but she has not laid an egg. I though she was molting (and she was) but I noticed even when she first got sick that her rear was hard and heavy but her vent was not swollen and looked normal. She still has the round, hard heavy behind, but other than that is acting perfectly normal. I don't think it could be an egg she has been like this for months. The only reason she is still inside is that the other hens nearly killed her when we tried to put her back with them.

She is a 1 and a half year old golden comet.
