She looks to be egg bound, what can I do to help her along, I put some vaseline around her vent but doesn't look to be helping.

You mean around her vent. Can you feel the egg inside her? I just went thru this as well. I took my girl to the vet. The vet gave her a shot of antibiotics & lubed the egg inside her. The vet said the reason she was egg bound was because the area surrounding the egg had dried up. I kept feeling the egg in her for around 4 days. Then one evening I felt her vent & it was gone. Not sure where she layed it or if she layed it. The next day I saw her in the nest boxes & she layed an egg. Some say to put her in warm water for 30 minutes.I had no luck at that. But its certainly worth a try.

Fill your sink or a rubbermaid dish pan with warm (not hot) water. Soak her bottom for 10 minutes. Put KY jelly or vaseline around her vent. If she is straining sometimes you can feel behind the egg from the outside and gently help to push it out. You may have to repeat the warm bum soak several times.

If all else fails and the hen becomes exhausted, if you can see the egg from the vent, you can puncture it with some sharp object then use a syringe to suction out the liquid. That will collapse the shell of the egg and make it easier to pass.
