Hi, here I am again.
If you’ve seen my last few threads you’ll know that my Porcelain Duccle Artemis had some nose clog issue. Good news! That has resolved itself.
Unfortunately, bad news is today I noticed she’s standing like a penguin and not speaking at all. She still pecked at the grass but I could tell she’s not feeling like herself.
Of course my mind went straight to egg bound, I’ve dealt with this before quite a few times. So I tried a bath (she was not a fan), dried her off and got her cozy in a dark place. Poor gal has been straining and pushing. About 15 minutes ago a small sack of egg white about the size of an olive came out. She’s still pushing though and I’m worried she’ll push so hard that she’ll prolapse.
It’s been about an hour, and usually it’s resolved by now. I’ve searched the web for anything similar but found little to nothing. I worry that this is the beginning of whatever my poor gal Irish had.
Anyone know what could be going on? There’s a bit of mucus leaking out, and that sac came out, but she’s still pushing. Is this your usual case of egg-boundness?
