Egg bound??? Peritonitis?? pictures...Please help!!

Any ideas? She's still eating and drinking, I don't believe she's broody, but she keeps acting like she wants to lay. Her poops still look normal. She's all red/ swollen under her vent and I can't feel an egg.

Here is a better picture. Excuse the poop on her, normally she's a lot cleaner.

Well she passed nothing over night, just poop. She actually has a weird smell to her. To me it smells like infection. I have been reading about peritonitis so I guess I will start her on duramycin. Anybody out there with any more suggestions??

You could try private messaging some one. I'm sure they would be glad to help.

That looks sore, poor thing. I doubt it is egg binding, if you can't feel it, but it could be egg yolk peritonitis or a broken egg inside of her. She may need antibiotics.

She didn't lay yesterday, it does look sore, I feel so bad for her. What kind of antibiotics?

Something like Batril or Cipro if she has an infection.

I know NOTHING about chickens except what i have been reading for several months, and just finished my coop and waiting for my pulletts to arrive this wk so plz check with someone before doing this.. BUT this may sound gross but i read on another thread somewhere to soak her butt for about 15 to 20 mins make sure to clean poop off and lube your finger and insert it in her vent (i believe its called ) not sure how far to insert it i wouldnt think to far..and ck to see if you feel a egg...and ive been reading allot of people put neosporine on there chickens, so until you figure out what is really going on i would say just keep her rump clean and neospored...again just a thought...keep us updated...
