egg bound ...please help

My chicken is egg bound we did warm bath we did electrolytes we also do the heat lampwe just lubricated her vent and could feel the egg was very very hard and very big she is walking fine eating and pooping fine is there anything else I can do please help

Try giving her a tums or calcium tablet orally,break into pieces or crush and add to small amount of water for her to drink,calcium helps muscles contract and often works in as little as an hour to expel egg. Keep her quiet/warm and in a dark location.

X2 on the calcium. I actually prefer using liquid calcium gluconate and you can get that at Tractor Supply in the cattle section. It might look like this:


I give about 1ml per 2.2 pounds orally.
