Egg bound silkie for 5 days!! Help!!

Sorry about all of the problems you are dealing with, and I hope that things improve soon. Do you have her in the dark? If so, I would not do that any longer. I would look at her quality of life, and decide what to do. If she is enjoying life, eating, drinking, and moving about, it might be good to give her some time. If you chose to cull her, and do a necropsy, then open the abdomen and take pictures of the organs, especially when you first open the abdomen. Look at the color of the liver, and the pressence of any egg-like material in the abdomen. Here are some guides:

Hello everyone so sweet sweet baby chickie is on day 9 of something/s in her who who, well yesterday I couldn't take it anymore of leaving her in the dark I set her free to be with her brother and sister she was scared at first and her sister was a little pecker at first but this morning they are like 2 peas in a pod now! But I did find a silkie egg on the floor of the coop, now the problem is idk who it came from! But I'm guessing it came from Baby Chickie because her other sister has been laying her eggs in a certain spot (in the other corner behind a peice of wood.HA! Go figure) then going broody on them and this egg was in the other corner in the open( not normal) but the egg looks normal and looks like a regular egg but idk if baby chickie laid it because it's not greasy looking (from all the oil I've been putting in her vent)
Anyways Baby Chickie has or still has a egg that is right up to her vent. It's closer to the vent than I have been feeling when I check her multiple times per day! Praying that's a good sign!!!!! The only thing I did different yesterday was put her back in her normal element and put extra virgin olive oil in her vent instead of mineral oil and massage the vent and move the egg up and down to help get the oil around the egg!

* Oh that's a good question! :caf
How do we know we are getting the oil around the egg knowing the egg comes from a different spot, should I push the syringe in to almost hit the egg to get the oil around it or no? Because literally I'm just putting 1/4 of an inch or 1/8 of an inch of the syringe in the vent?

I'm so so so praying that was her egg this morning :fl:idunno

* Also I will take a video of her today while she is outside you you guys can see how she is doing!

The egg on the Left is (Sick Partridge Baby Chickie's) the Right is (Normal not sick silkie sister) .the left looks longer for a normal new layer but it's the same as wide and high as the one on the right! But I found a Gray (dark colored) silkie fluff on the one on the left so I guess it's "possible" baby chickie did lay it. Idk but it does feel good to breathe again!

I’m on day 7 of an egg bound Silkie. She’s 2 y.o. and new to my family. Her first night she laid a rubber egg, and I could feel the next egg the following morning but it had a hard shell. Same thing you did with baths, tums, used coconut oil instead of mineral oil, exterior massages, etc.

Any tips for me?
