What's her poop look like?Around 6 months old, just started to lay. Puffed up, not walking around much, pulsing vent..... going to try an epsom salt bath unless anyone else has another suggestion.....View attachment 2457329View attachment 2457342

She’s doing the penguin walk, so I suspected she’s egg bound....I had a chicken that had coccidiosis and was doing the pulsing vent.
You can check her easily for egg bound if not, I'd take a sample of her poo to the Vet, it's not expensive. Mine actually had both Cocci and worms per the vet sample. She’s doing the penguin walk, so I suspected she’s egg bound....
Not open today.... other than epsom salt bath.... anything else I can do?You can check her easily for egg bound if not, I'd take a sample of her poo to the Vet, it's not expensive. Mine actually had both Cocci and worms per the vet sample.
When I get anywhere near her vent she gets very agitated and squirmy......I haven’t had to deal with this but in order to actually know if she is egg bound or not you can put a glove on and put your finger in her vent about 1-2 inches I believe... if you don’t feel an egg than she might not be egg bound
