Egg bound!

What symptoms is she displaying?
Egg binding is when a hen is sitting hunchbacked like a penguin, neck drawn in, eyes closed and a general look of misery. Sometimes straining.

Her eyes aren't closed, but the rest of that she's got. I assumed it was a bound egg due to her being in her nestingbox, she only goes there to lay her eggs, and what u just described she's displaying

She just looks broody to me. You would know a chicken is egg bound by them literally looking like a penguin when standing up.

Her feathers are fluffed up, and she’s laying in the nesting box, probably broody or starting to be broody.

She looks more like a focused, angry broody than egg bound. As I said, it won't hurt her to give her calcium but I don't believe she's egg bound.
This is the stance I'm talking about.

How's she doing? I've had a few egg bound hens and only one held herself weird I give mine a bath and massage if it came to that and they were fine I think she looks broody!

I would give her a bath and massage and see if that helps
