Three days ago my chicken Lily was laying in her nest trying to lay an egg for hours. I picked her up and brought her outside. Lily laid an egg and a yolk as soon as I sat her down. She went back inside and didn't roost and she looked as if she was still trying to lay. Now two days later she's eating drinking and walking around outside with the other hens. She still looks as if she's trying to lay her tail feathers go up and down, but not crazy like she's in pain. Tonight she flew up to the roost which she hasn't been, could she be recovering or is she still egg bound. There hasn't been an egg from her since two days ago, has she stopped from stress or she just cant lay? Thanks
