Egg broken inside hen

Thank you all so much! Is this antibiotic appropriate? I have injectable penicillin as well but saw that this particular antibiotic was recommended on another forum somewhere.

It would depend on what type of bacteria she has, which is very often E.coli. Terramycin is broad spectrum so should work.

Sorry for all of the questions, but does anyone know how long I should continue giving her antibiotics? She is acting normal, but still no egg. I'm continuing calcium supplements as well.

Seven to ten days for most antibiotics.

So I'm hoping that this is good, but she laid an egg. I'm very confused because I thought for sure I felt a hard shell break in her abdomem and saw egg yolk or something similar come out, but today she laid a soft shelled egg. I know for sure it was her that laid the egg. Crossing my fingers that I was just crazy and thought the shell broke!
