The jumbo egg cartons will hold my Pekin's eggs - I have not weighed or measured them though, maybe they are smaller than yours...I put 1 or 2 duck eggs into each of my dozen eggs (the others are large to extra large chicken eggs and the styrofoam cartons (eggland's best for example) will shut even when the carton is only "large eggs". It does vary by brand. Kroger egg cartons run small. Styrofoam will stretch a bit if you snuggle the eggs down in the pocket, cardboard do not. EB run larger, but would not fit a whole dozen duck eggs like the jumbos will - the sides touch. I put the duck eggs in the front R and L corner slots and use a rubber band to help keep them closed. I need the rubber band anyway because I had a stamp made that fits 4 labels to a sheet of plain paper (zazzle.com, 3 x 4 inch customizable extra large stamp). Cheaper than sticky labels and each carton gets a fresh label that can be dated. I use the paper that the kids scribble a bit on, or is wrinkled. I got the stamp during a 50% off promotion and it was around $18. The trouble is finding a stamping pad large enough for it that doesn't cause an arm and a leg (more than the stamp!!).
I got these on Amazon a couple of years ago. They are 3" outside. I think they were 37¢ a piece for 140 cartons. Type in Jumbo egg carton. GC.View attachment 1877916.View attachment 1877917.View attachment 1877918
