Egg collection baskets

Most egg baskets are too large. I did notice that http://www.eggcartons.com has some smaller . Here they are from their website.

These Coated Wire Egg Baskets are great for collecting and washing eggs. Coated wire cushions the eggs to protect them from breakage and protects basket from corrosion when washing eggs (We sell egg wash too!). Handle is also coated to be easy on your hands. Pleasant green color. Great for floral arrangements also! The baskets have a tapered design which allows nesting of multiple baskets.
These baskets are available in 8, 10, and 14-inch sizes.
8" Basket measures 8" high, and holds 3-4 dozen Large eggs.
10" Basket measures 10" high, and holds 6-8 dozen Large eggs. The 10" size is Perfect basket for use with the Incredible Egg Washer.
14" Basket measures 14" high, and holds 15 dozen Large eggs. This basket size will Not fit The Incredible Egg Washer.

I collect eggs in egg cartons.
I do that, but when I started selling to my mom's restaurant I had to stop because it was bad to have dirty eggs in the same carton as good ones, so I had to separate half my cartons into "Unwashed" and half into "Washed".

BTW, I wash after they go in the fridge, with no cracks (I heard that they could crack, not true). Just takes them a long time to air dry.

I just bought this vintage egg basket I love the flange on the top. My chickens will be laying by November so I was happy to find one I really wanted. Does anyone know anything about these or this design. It was found in an old farmhouse in rural NY.
