Dani picked up the boy from me today. He has a decent pea comb for being pea/single cross. Though a BR rooster would be much lighter than a hen, normally, this boy is colored like a BR pullet and he has nice beard and muffs. Guess that would mean he inherited one barring gene from his sire so I wonder if all or part of his offspring would be barred, if not bred with a barred hen.
