Egg color question

I'll leave it to others to explain the genetics of egg color, and volunteer only that I have some SLW laying cream colored eggs which appear pink *in certain light*, which is the only way I can tell them apart (when i can tell them apart) from my Brahma eggs.

If any of you are interested in learning more about eggshell color genetics, I posted this article, which is a copy of a college paper I wrote. I learned a lot writing it, and it really got me excited about genetics, since eggshells seem like such a simple thing but so many genes and chemicals go into creating their color!

Try taking the photos in daylight.
a lot of cell phone cameras have auto color correction software which can play absolute havoc. I've had *limited* success by altering backgrounds, but in the main, I just accept that celphone pics are the wrong colors.
