EGG COLOR WHAT CAN IT TELL US

So I have two eggs incubating. One is hatching right now and the shell is a solid beige color, and that egg was supposed to hatch today even though it started last night. The other egg in the bator was supposed to hatch on saturday but hasn't yet and the shell of that egg is beige but its starting to get speckled. What does the speckling mean? or does it mean anything. I was just wondering because the other egg doesn't look like that.

I don't know but I sure hope it doesn't mean it's going bad...hope one of the experienced hatchers can say, I would like to know also.

Is there an odor from the bator? If it is just a look of speckles and no odor I wouldn't worry about it. I just had 2 hatch that I was sure were bad because they got "spots" on them. The nose is the best tool you have
