Egg Color

Hi everyone, I have two Easter Eggers, one has started laying. She is laying cream color eggs.
My question is: Will she be laying cream color eggs only? or will she give us different colored eggs also?

She will lay only that colour of eggs. Maybe it can change a bit (maybe a bit darker or lighter) along the year and in her life, but she'll continue to lay cream color eggs only.
Egg color is decided by the genes, so it can't change

She didn't get the blue gene. Easterless Egger.

Who knows the other one may lay green, blue, cream, or brown. Just depends on genetics. If your really interested in getting a particular color egg look to breeders of a particular breed to get what you want.
For blue look for ameraucanas or cream legbars. Fairly common to find.

I've had a mean trick I've been wanting to play on my wife that involves eggs & food color. Hehe
