Egg Color?

I heard that Barred Rocks are supposed to lay blueish eggs. Is this true? Mine just started laying and I am getting this pale-ish egg sometimes with brown spots. I'm sometimes not even sure if they're hers.They could be me RIR but she was laying BROWN eggs. Is this normal? will the egg color change?

BRs lay BRown eggs.

The egg color will vary in color strength but will not change.

Barred Rocks tend to lay brown eggs, usually a lightish brown.

I have 2 barred rocks they both lay a pretty brown egg.

The only chickens that lay blueish eggs are Easter Eggers, Legbars, Araucanas, and Ameraucanas as well as the very rare European strain of blue egg laying Dorking.
