My americuna hen has been laying since early this spring and about a week ago she stop. She was sitting down looking like she was going to lay and I accidently interrupted her and she left. Afterwards she didn't try again and look puffed up, she followed the other two chickens she is in a coup with but didn't forage. The next day she still looked a little puffed up but it got better by the end of the day. She still hasn't laid and either has the other laying hen she is with. I didn't see the puffed up thing with the other hen though. Did they both eat something weird? Should I be worried or am I just mother-hening (no pun intended
them too much? I have other birds that are not in the same coup and they are still laying soo? Help, please? Thanks!

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
