Hmm, what was the texture like, because it's different than pudding like, its more (hard to describe) silky, smooth, almost slippery like. But I love this for a quick dessert that using lots of eggs!
 
Do you use the whole egg, yolk and white?

Its not silky or smooth at all. When it was baking in that dish, it came up higher, and as it cooled it flattened out.

Look at the texture.

From the picture it looks like you probably used too large of a dish and may have over cooked it.

Yes, you use the whole egg.

Hmm, how much milk did your recipe call for? I used whole eggs, maybe you need a smaller dish next time. Also did you use a water bath?
