Egg Eaters!!!!

I have 2 buff orpington hens who are about 2 yo. They took a break from laying for a while and it was about a few weeks ago they started laying again. Every egg they lay they eat! It's so frustrating! Any ideas on how to get them to stop?

Go out to collect the eggs very often. Try to take them before the hens have a chance to start eating them.
You can also put fake eggs or golf balls into the nests. When they try to eat them, it won't work, so that might discourage the behavior.

Are the shells good and hard....or thin or soft?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

Birds that age should be slowly down production for the molt and winter break.
You can get some funky eggs at this time.
