Well, you could spray him with the hose. When my cat misbehaves (which is hardly EVER....ya right
) I give him a squirt from the water bottle and he gets the point pretty quickly. Cats hate water, so that might work for you. Catch him in the act and squirt him.
You might have to do it a few times, but if you keep up with it, he should get the idea and back off.
OR....my creative hub had a thought. He's eating the eggs because they taste good. So, if you make them taste bad, he should give up and not try it again. Hub suggests this: (depending on when this tom cat is doing this...you'll have to get to the eggs before him for this to work) take a few of the eggs, tap a small hole in one end and inject them with something that is edible (you dont want to poison the kitty!) but tastes bad, like hot sauce, lemon juice, etc. Put a little tape over the hole to keep it from leaking out, mark the eggs (so you can tell them apart from your GOOD eggs!) and when kitty breaks an egg, it will taste nasty to him and he should leave them alone.
Just a couple suggestions we thought of for ya! Havent tried the egg thing though, but would be interested in knowing if it works!
