Egg eating...

So, 2 of our chickens have been eating eggs. I have to rush out to the coop every time one of our girls lays an egg, to prevent it from getting eaten, and thats not really working for my schedule. Any advice to stop this?
My hens were also eating eggs I started feeding them oyster shell in their food it took them about a week to stop. I was told they need the calcium.

I’m having such an issue with this and sadly they are fertilized eggs under broody hens I had 2 broody (1 silkie and one cuckoo maran) and then my speckled Sussex went broody too and kicked my silkie off her eggs multiple times and fighting started. They broke MANY MANY eggs (at least 9 now) and they keep eating them. More went missing and I’m worried that the speckled Sussex is just pecking them and breaking them. I didn’t know what to do except moving all the eggs to the cuckoo maran because she is NO BUSINESS! But I’m worried if she gets off them that the other two broodys will try and fight over the nest again. I tried to move her nest and her tonight in the dead of night and she FREAKED out... it’s too late to move her now I fear

I have a hen named Shiloh. She is an eggeater, herself. If any hen has layed an egg before her in the morning she will eat it before she lays hers. I have her some oyster shells then she stopped. Now if she doesn't have her oyster shells she will go rate back to eggeating.
Sometimes an egg will break in the nesting box. If any hen sees it she will eat it to clean up the nest. If your hens are laying weak shells were they are easily broken, the hens will start eating the eggs more. I say some oyster shells will help out your hens. You want to mix it up in their food, so they have to eat it. Some people have separate feeders for things like oyster shells, but I say you mix it up in their food first. Then maybe later you can have it separate if you want.
You could also give their own eggshells to eateat, but you have to prepare them in a way that they don't know that it eggshells because it could make it worse. Good luck with your hens.

My hens have slipped back into their egg eating ways. I’m at the point where I’m going to find all the egg eating hens and rehome them. I’ve tried changing their diet a couple times but I think it could have something to do with having my original flock around them. The guilty hens are from a flock my neighbor left when she moved. Maybe they are stressed out by all the new comer hens or something or maybe it’s because they were “free range” before I owned them and were able to lay wherever they wanted. If that’s it then I can’t help them. I can not search this huge property looking for eggs everyday. I’m pretty mad at them right now.
