Egg grading

    Ive been searching online for a egg grading chart, but cant find one. single egg weight = grade
    Can anyone help me?

    as for weight... these are approx from information that I have gathered

    Jumbo eggs 2.5oz
    Extra Large 2.25oz
    Large 2.0 oz
    Medium 1.75 oz.
    Small 1.5 oz
    Peewee 1.25oz

    A small accurate scale is needed for sizing eggs for customers. Most people prefer uniformity in both size and color.
    I sell eggs as either Medium or Large. If an egg is off-color or has some other cosmetic defect, it's not included.
    It really does make a good impression when your customer opens a carton and sees a set of clean, fresh, uniform eggs. These impressed customers will be good advertisement for your eggs.
