Honey also works to shrink the prolapse, and has antibacterial properties--and it is something most people have in the cupboard. Witchhazel is the ingredient in Preparation H that helps with shrinking.

Hi again everyone i just checked beyonce shes still not pooing her vent looks all sore an she smells pretty bad could she also have vent gleet!! Ive just put yoghurt in and garlic just incase

I would do another epsom salt very warm soak on her bottom. You might want to check inside her vent to make sure it is open, and in case there is poo plugging her up. The dark tissue that was around her vent may be dead tissue I suppose--hard to tell. A picture might help us. If you have molasses, you could give her just a tiny amount--this works as a laxative. I hope she starts having poos--that is worrisome--is she eating and drinking? She could have vent gleet, but it may just be an infection from the prolapse. Keeping it clean will help. Probably time for a cloacal exam to check for obstructions, lumps, fluid, swellings, eggs, etc. Get a glove, some KJ Jelly and very gently do an exam.

There is poo comi g out but only the water the solid is on her vent i soaked it off checked i side her (couldnt feel anything obvious and she didnt act uncomfortable iy mollasses black treacle. Shes drank lots an i gave her a calcium solution straight into her throat ate yoghurt some egg shell

Hi everyone beyonce is looking better she.still has a prolapse and seems to be contracting but seems a lot better shes waddling a little (bit.this maybe as i havent let her out) gona.put her in our garden for a while tomorrow see how she is thanks for all the help x
