Egg inside of an egg

Has anyone ever gotten an egg that had an egg formed inside of it? We recently did and the one on the inside had the yolk in it. There was two complete shells. It was very strange so we're just wondering if anyone has come across this. Thanks

I recently had a double yolk egg inside a double yolk egg. When I broke the first egg open the first two yolks broke.

I have a Delaware that layed 4 of these in the spring, but mine were single yolk in a single yolk . She seems to be all sorted out now....

you got 4 for the price of one. She laid her week's alottment in one day, part time chicken...

My giant egg within an egg came from a Delaware too. It was a few years back. I didn't get a breakout pix.
