Hey all
So my buddy has a variety of birds at his house and he offered me guinea fowl eggs so gave me 23 eggs which i was happy with. So i got the eggs and i stuffed them under 3 broody hens. 15 days later i candled the eggs and 1 out of 23 eggs was fertile. So i was like ok they must be lacking in a Guinea cock but was happy i got atleast one fertile.
Now i candled the egg at day 23 and it already internal pipped? My question is: Why is it hatching so early? Do some keets just develop a lot faster than others?
Hatched guinea eggs in the past and all the eggs hatched at day 28
