Egg layers

Do your turkeys lay every day or every other day? My hen laid an egg every other day but she laid two eggs in two days now?

I heard they cant lay day after day because their cycle takes longer than 24 hours?

my hens lay every other day, but this year they switched up, out of nine hens 7 eggs one day,8 the next . the chocolates 5 hens laid 5 one day 4 the next! its been areally warm spring here!! I also feed them 1/3 layer mash it makes nice eggs!! 16% 1/3 sweet feed 12% 1/3 5-grain scatch 9% tom

I'm getting five eggs a week out of Jefferson.....so, it's like what? An egg and a half a day? LOL! Now if those bloody Midgets would just emulate the beloved Jefferson and lay even every other day I'd be so happy.

kind of hard to guess, but you should get 3/5 eggs a week per hen! I swear some of these hens almost an egg a day! weather warming I guess, longer days, more light???????? tom

You guys are lucky! Mine still havent layed AN EGG yet!!!!! Getting VERY INPATIENT!

I thought my free ranging hens haven't been laying either, but the other day I found a nest with 8 eggs and they have been adding an egg everyother day.

Well I've been getting an egg a day for almost a week. I have two hens one is a Midget White and the other is a Blue Slate. I think only the MW is laying as she gets very upset when I remove the egg.
