Egg layin time??

I checked my ladies yesterday about 10:30 am and there was one small egg, today there has been nothing. I got my chicks at the end of April, are they all going to start laying soon???

they should any day now! I have some born in march, some are laying and 2 are still not. Some breeds mature slower than others and will take longer. Are you feeding them layer food yet? I would..make sure they have enough calcium to form the shells.

I have started egg laying food. I was so excited to see an egg yesterday, and then when I got nothing today I was so bummed. I bought sex link chicks (at least that's what the feed store said they were).
