Egg laying after a moult.....!

Hello,

Just a quick question, my hen finished the moult about 4 weeks ago, I actually bought her then, so not had an egg off her yet, she is 18 months old.

When I bought her, her comb was very pale, now it has gone very red again and this morning she started to squat when I went near her, do you think this is a good sign that she is likely to start laying again??

yep! the returning red in her comb... if she has yellow legs, you'll also notice that they've gotten darker... means that her system has replenished from the stress of the molt and she's gearing up for an other laying cycle.
