Egg laying already?

i love guinea eggs as well , but there shells are hard

I better take more eggs out. Yesterday they had a designated sitter. What the heck are they thinking, by the time the eggs would hatch the ground will probably be froze. Poor hen, she was the one that survived the hawk attack, now she's thinking of braving the raccoons, coyotes, foxes and wolves (yes, we have wolves, and they like baby calves, another story).

So I went to move her and now remember how cranky they are when their sitting. Let's just say I ended up getting the whole mob mad and really noisy. But everyone did come into the coup to roost last night.

I guess next year I can look forward to this all spring/summer/fall.
