This is how I handle "lost" or what I call "extra" eggs.
I put a "1" in each box when I find an egg. If I find 13....then I write 13 in that Box and highlight thirteen boxes....it shows that there should have been a one in those boxes.
Very often if lines up perfect with when I quit getting eggs from that chicken....it's why when a chicken quits unexpectedly (not moulting)--then I start looking for hidden eggs!
