I live in Michigan and my flock went through a tough winter not so much the weather but there feed and water were lacking at times, and I was so over the top busy that I didn't get the coop cleaned out before the cold set in so there living conditions were not the best anyway my point is that though they are about 9 months old now I haven't got one egg also the one rooster never gets on the hens no action that I have seen and no wake up call as of yet never herd him at dawn.
Could I have ruined these birds from bad living conditions and lack of food over the winter? Anyway I feel teriable they look great act normal other then no breeding happening, yet no eggs I cleaned the coop out this week and re establishes the supper cozy nesting beds and they have had plenty of food and water for weeks is there anything else I can do to encourage them to lay eggs and is it normal for them to not be laying yet? Any help would be awesome

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
