Just wanted to update, yesterday I got my first egg from the group of young pullets. At 21 weeks and 4 days, it had to be one of the Dominiques because it was cream colored and so cute (small) but perfectly formed. The Marans and the Penedesencas should lay a much darker egg, at least I hope they do. My 5 year granddaughter claimed it right away as hers for breakfast!
