Egg laying

I have 5 hens and 7 pullets in a coop (under 4 months old) Yesterday I got 6 eggs and today 8. Are my hens laying 2 eggs a day? Or are my chicks laying?

It sounds like a couple of your pullets have started laying

Wow,they are so young. These are chicks from my Easter hatch. I wasn't expecting them to lay

Mixed. Dad was americauna/French copper maran. Moms are Rhode Island Red, sex link, Wyandotte, speckled Sussex.
