So it's almost that time for the girls to start laying eggs finally!! I was wondering what would be best to keep them fresh? I was thinking of buying a mini fridge but I wasn't sure because I read that leaving them out was better

If you wash your eggs your best bet is to refrigerate them. If not then from what I have read, most people agree that you can leave them out at room temperature for 2-3 wks. It is all depending on whether you wash the "bloom" off the eggshell or not. That protects it from salmonella growing in your eggs, which is the purpose of refrigeration if you wash it off them. I have also heard they can be creamier if left not refrigerated so it is more a personal taste thing as well as depending on how long you will have them before eating them from what I have heard and read. Hope that helps I am fairly new to this but most of what I have read and been told agree with this. Good Luck! Enjoy!

Sure! Thats what we are here for!
