Egg less duck?

I have a six month old Peking female and a male Indian runner the same age. She has not laid any eggs. Should I be worried?

I would say, aware not worried.

They can have difficulties, so you are wise to ask.

What is her behavior like? Some ducks are late bloomers, and start laying in the spring if they reach maturity later in the summer.

She seems fine but I've never had ducks before. The male has become a little aggressive towards me and my wife if we get too close but t I hear that's normal too. He isn't aggressive towards her that I've seen. I've also heard sometimes they can take up to 8 months to start laying eggs.

Lots of mating can slow down laying, too. Drakes are different - many but not all overdo it.

Do any of your ducks bite you? My male started about a week or two ago. Can leave a mark. I don't know if that's normal either.
