Got the rafters up and ready for the aluminum roof. Also got started on the nest boxes. The nesting boxes will be attached to the back, and they will have doors to gather eggs from the outside.

Did you finish it? I’m planning a similar build and trying to find one I think will work for us.

@Doublecloverfarm, my husband built my coop on a 4x8 trailer so that we could move it up by the house in the winter, and down by the garden in the summer. The coop is 4x8, so nowhere the size of OP, but here are some pictures.

Right now I have three pullets and a cockerel, but will be getting chicks in June. The nest box is 18" off the floor, so there is the full 32 sf floor space. I have the roost down low right now to keep the cross ventilation above the birds' heads.

Originally, there were four nest boxes, but we obviously didn't need that for three pullets. (Straight run disappointments, what can I say?)
