Egg peritonitis or tumor?

Our pet hen has a growth (?) between her legs towards her front. It is baseball sized (?). It is hard but moves around. She seems more or less fine and I know she has had this a few weeks. Any thoughts?

Any home remedies for either?

also, anyone know what bone-wen is? The Poultry Doctor mentions it but it can not be Googled.

I found "bone-wen" mentioned in a book from 1851. It says it's an enlargement forming around the bones of the joints. Interesting reading... the poultry diseases and cures are quite a bit different way back then. Anyway, sorry I can't help with your hen's problem. Good luck!
