Egg positioning during incubation

The darker the egg, the longer to wait to candle. With my dark brown, dark green, and turkey eggs, it's usually 10 days before I have a good view.

I use the brightest LED flashlight I could find.

Good to know, thanks! I'll check again in a day or two. I'll watch for movement too. Happily there are no clear eggs, but my understanding is that no movement = dead embryo, and that should be watched for as well.
