Hi,
I have 2 breeds of chicken and planning on relocating both groups.
I also have a (semi) old shed what I would like to use for both.
To spare a dime and penny, I would like to divide the night coop with just chicken wire in between both.
question: will this result in "stress" and rooster territory behavior issues or is this just a matter of getting used to it? When free roaming both roosters will once in awhile go after each other, but this has happened only 3x in 2 years.
Also, could this also be an issue if the chicken pens would be attached to each other and just seperated with chicken wire? I want to to keep my egg production on par and fertility rate included...
Please advice and thnx in advance!
