Black Australorps, Rocks and Delawares lay really well. I actually have had most of my dels and rocks start at right around 20 weeks but I feed gamebird starter. Other than a late moult, all my Dels and Rocks and the BA are laying through this winter, no lights, no heat. And I'm really happy with the size of eggs, and color I'm getting from the older Delawares now. They can definitely be my primary layers, those big pinktan eggs are a HIT with my egg buyers. The BA is still laying the biggest eggs but only by a smidge now.
