Egg production question

Hi chicken and duck lovers, I'd love your opinion what is the best chicken breed for egg production with feathered legs ?

Generally, chickens with more feathered legs aren't the best producers. However, birds like Marans and Langshans aren't too bad, just not very feathery! I adore my cochins no matter how many eggs they lay, 2/5 of ours are Champion Layers, the others are kinda 'eh'

Hi chicken and duck lovers, I'd love your opinion what is the best chicken breed for egg production with feathered legs ?

I have two feather legged pullets, a Cuckoo Marans and a Buff Brahma. They both lay 4-5 eggs/week although the Marans eggs are considerably larger. That's seems like good production to me!

My black copper marans is a good producer. She reliably gives 5 eggs a week (a bonus is the chocolate colored eggs)!
