Egg production stopped

Our OG layers were born last August (7 of them), so they are now just over a year old.

Two months ago we picked up a turkey and a silkie. They integrated well into the flock.

We picked up more layers at a swap a month ago (7 new-to-us hens, within laying age). In addition, we picked up another turkey, a peafowel and two roosters of different breed.

Every single one of our OG hens has stopped laying. We had three that were faithful daily layers, and the other four were almost daily layers.

We’re lucky to get two eggs a day now from a couple of the new flock hens.

Nobody is sick, they’re not lethargic… we have six boxes (so I’d assume adequate space for them to lay), nobody is fighting, no egg eaters and we just turned them back out to free range.

What gives?

What's the weather like where u are? Bad storms lately? Extreme heat?cold? Introducing those new birds..may have intimidated them? Stress can cause this...may need time 2 adjust...

The additions of new flock members can be stressful and cause them to stop laying for a while.

Combo of all the new birds and the fact that it's molting time for the older birds.

It hasn’t been cold/hot, no storms and no predators.

Thank you for the input! That’s what we were thinking it was, but with them laying after for a couple of weeks after we got the new birds and then for them to suddenly stop, we weren’t sure if that was still the cause.
