There were a few that are newer (not much in there), those could have been them. Will check them again in a few days. How long do I wait for the 3 that didn’t look right before tossing?

Could the eggs have gotten wet?

Next time you candle, shine into the fat end where the air cell is.
They are in the back corner of the coop behind a feed canister. I ran the light all around the eggs. Not the greatest flashlight (bust brightest I have) for candling and I have no idea what I’m doing! Lol (second pic was when she left the nest for a bit and covered them)

I love how they cover them up!

You are looking for blood vessels and a growing body inside. As they days go on, the egg obviously gets more full of body.
If ones quits developing, the blood vessels will collapse and basically seem to disappear, so you always want to see good strong veins.

Ok, thanks! Wasn’t sure how much I could rotate them. I know mom does but I left them the way they were laying just to be safe. I need to candle them at night it looks like (our coop is a 10’x10’ shed with a glass sliding door. I can’t just shut the door to make it dark. Lol)

Tossed 2 eggs so far. I’m so afraid to toss the others that may be bad... if some eggs hatch, will mom continue to sit for days until the others hatch? Or will she abandon them...?
